The Rupee rose 37 paise against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday. The Indian currency opened at 81.45 against the USD, then touched 81.30, thereby gaining 37 paise over its previous close.
On Monday, the Rupee had fallen 58 paise to close at an all time low of 81.67 against the dollar.
The Rupee gained 37 paise early Tuesday as the US Dollar retreated from its elevated level, experts said.
Most Asian markets started mixed but a positive start in equity futures could help motivate sentiments. The dollar index was marginally weaker while Euro, Sterling and Yen strengthened against the greenback early Tuesday.
