The Rupee opened on Thursday at 81.52 against US dollar and later settled at an all time low of 81.94 paise against the US currency.
During the trading session, Rupee registered a high of 81.51 and a low of 81.94 against the greenback.
The Rupee declined 32 paise to close at 81.94 paise against the US dollar and this impact was in view of firm crude oil prices .
On Tuesday the Rupee appreciated by 20 paise to end at 81.62 against the USD. The Forex Market was closed on Wednesday as it was a holiday due to Dussehra.
Meanwhile, the dollar index, which gauges the greenback’s strength against a basket of six currencies, advanced 0.06 per cent to 111.27.
