New Delhi, July 12, 2019: Commodity Participants Association of India (CPAI) is organising its 7th International Convention in New Delhi on July 13th, 2019.
This convention will be held at New Delhi’s Le Meridien Hotel on Saturday-July 13th, 2019. The theme of this year’s convention is “Building Indian Commodity Market for Job Creation and Sustainable Development Goals.”
During the day-long event, panel discussions will be held on diverse topics such as structural reforms, growing international competition and challenges in commodity markets; institutional dilemmas and new opportunities in commodity markets; modernisation of agricultural markets and connecting spot and derivatives markets. Regulators, commodity exchanges and other commodity market participants have been invited to take part in the panel discussions.
Among the prominent dignitaries who are expected to grace the occasion are Shri. Anurag Singh Thakur, Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Shri. Kailash Choudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State for Agriculture and Shri. Subhash Chandra Garg, Finance Secretary and Secretary (EA), Ministry of Finance along with heads of national commodity exchanges and industry members.
After the integration of spot and futures markets, CPAI’s goal is now to work towards development of the commodity derivatives market. At the same time, it is also an objective for CPAI to give due recognisation to the people and institutions who are working for the development of the commodity markets.
