Mumbai : Punjab National Bank has registered a three-fold increase in its profit to Rs 2,223 crore for the third quarter December 2023.
A year ago in the same quarter, the state-owned PNB had earned a net profit of Rs 629 crore.
The total income of the Bank increased to Rs 29,962 crore during the same quarter as against Rs 25,722 crore during the same period last year, the Bank said in a regulatory filing.on Thursday.
The Bank’s income from Interest rose to Rs 27,289 crore compared to Rs 22,384 crore in the third quarter of the previous fiscal.
