PM inaugurates Ram Temple in Ayodhya

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday conducted the “Pran Pratistha” of Lord Ram at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, culminating the 11-day “Anushthan” ritual.

He was accompanied by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On this historic occasion, Army helicopters showered flowers on the temple grounds.

Congratulating the nation and the people after the ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Prime Minister Modi expressed his joy and said “our Lord Ram has arrived after Centuries of waiting. My voice is choked…still absorbed at that moment. Our Lord Rama will not stay in a tent anymore but in a divine, grand temple.”

On the occasion, he stressed the need for building the nation and said a “New Era has begun” in the making of the Nation.

He completed Pran Pratishtha in 84 seconds and said “Our Ram Lalla is here.”

Addressing a gathering of over 700 people, including seers and prominent personalities, in Ayodhya after inaugurating the temple, Modi said “Lord Ram is not fire, he is energy. Ram is not a dispute, he is a Resolution. Ram is not just present, he is eternal.”
