{"id":7305,"date":"2024-01-23T06:28:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-23T06:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/financeintellect.com\/home-page\/home\/?p=7305"},"modified":"2024-01-23T06:28:03","modified_gmt":"2024-01-23T06:28:03","slug":"vikas-bharat-1947-vision-outlined-at-davos-meet-with-focus-on-evs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/financeintellect.com\/home-page\/home\/vikas-bharat-1947-vision-outlined-at-davos-meet-with-focus-on-evs\/","title":{"rendered":"Vikas Bharat @1947 vision outlined at Davos meet with focus on EVs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Government has spelled out its vision to make India a developed by 2047 with a major focus on shifting to Electric Vehicles (EV) supported by tax incentives, production-linked incentive schemes and the mandatory provision of charging infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This vision was shared by Secretary, Department for promotion of Industry and Internal Trade Rajesh Kumar Singh at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/\">World Economic Forum<\/a> In Davos, according to a PTI report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said that a shift in the modal share of freight from road to rail will be an effective lever to decarbonize the freight transport sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vikas Bharat @1947 is the vision to make India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of the country\u2019s Independence, Singh said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vision includes various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vision was discussed in a session on \u201cFinancing Industrial Ecosystems of the Future\u201d at the recently concluded WEF at Davos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further said that key reforms such as the PM <a href=\"https:\/\/www.india.gov.in\/spotlight\/pm-gati-shakti-national-master-plan-multi-modal-connectivity\">Gati Shakti<\/a> program and the United Logistics Interface Platform were showcased in the meeting.
