{"id":6492,"date":"2020-12-18T17:16:34","date_gmt":"2020-12-18T17:16:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/financeintellect.com\/home-page\/home\/?p=6492"},"modified":"2020-12-18T17:16:34","modified_gmt":"2020-12-18T17:16:34","slug":"sensex-touches-new-high-of-46960-69-nifty-above-13750","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/financeintellect.com\/home-page\/home\/sensex-touches-new-high-of-46960-69-nifty-above-13750\/","title":{"rendered":"Sensex touches new high of 46,960.69, Nifty above 13,750"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mumbai<\/strong> : The 30-pack Sensex on Friday touched a high of 47026.02 and a low of 46,630.31, however the index settled at 46,960.69.<\/p>\n<p>Sensex rose for the sixth day on Friday, up 70 points while Nifty went up above 13,750, Bajaj Auto and Infy<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>gained over 2 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Infosys, RIL and ICICI Bank led the market gains.<\/p>\n<p>Fifteen of the 30 Sensex stocks ended the day in the green.<\/p>\n<p>Among the index contributors were Infosys, RIL, ICICI Bank, HUL and TCS.<\/p>\n<p>The top index gainers included Bajaj Auto (2.43 %), Infosys (2.36 %), SBI (1.46 %).<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the top index losers were IndusInd Bank (3.09),<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>HDFC Bank (2.21 5), ONGC (2.07 %).<\/p>\n<p>S&amp;P BSE Information Technology emerged as the biggest sectoral gainer, up 1.70 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>S&amp;P BSE Telecom was the biggest sectoral loser, down 1.41 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Among the volume toppers were Asian Paints, Infosys, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance and TCS.<\/p>\n<p>Experts warned that Nifty had already reached top heights and there could be a correction<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>in near future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Mumbai : The 30-pack Sensex on Friday touched a high of 47026.02 and a low of 46,630.31, however the index settled at 46,960.69.
