Mumbai : The 30-pack Sensex touched a high of 40,555.60 on Tuesday and a low of 39,978.39 to finally settle at 40,522.10.<\/p>\n
Financials and Asian Paints led the market rally as 20 of the 30 Sensex stocks ended the day in the green.<\/p>\n
The main index contributors were Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, , Bajaj Finance and Axis Bank among others.<\/p>\n
The top index gainers were Kotak Bank (11.86 per cent), Nestle (6.04 per cent), Asia Paints (5.59 per cent) among others.<\/p>\n
Among the top Index losers were HDFC (2.05 per cent), TCS (1.94 per cent), ONGC (1.76 per cent).<\/p>\n
