{"id":6361,"date":"2020-07-08T17:13:43","date_gmt":"2020-07-08T17:13:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/financeintellect.com\/home-page\/home\/?p=6361"},"modified":"2020-07-08T17:13:43","modified_gmt":"2020-07-08T17:13:43","slug":"bank-of-maharashtra-sanctions-rs-2779-crore-since-mar-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/financeintellect.com\/home-page\/home\/bank-of-maharashtra-sanctions-rs-2779-crore-since-mar-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Bank of Maharashtra sanctions Rs 2779 crore since Mar 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mumbai, July 8 : Bank of Maharashtra said on Wednesday that it had sanctioned Rs 2779 crore to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under its various\u00a0schemes since March 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Of this, the State-owned Bank said, it had disbursed Rs 2,327 crore to MSMEs, a release said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The loans to MSMEs were offered mainly under Government\u2019s Rs 3 lakh crore &#8216;Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme\u201d and the lender\u2019s emergency-credit line for\u00a0Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>Since the lockdown after the outbreak of pandemic, the Bank said it had sanctioned additional loans to its customers, including MSMEs, agriculture and personal\u00a0borrowers over their regular limits, to overcome their liquidity mismatches.<\/p>\n<p>The Bank further said that under its emergency line for Covid-19, it had sanctioned Rs 1653.16 crore to 1,08,419 borrowers. It sanctioned Rs 1724.98 crore to 84,151\u00a0Borrowers under Emergency Credit line Guarantee Scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The release said that the Bank had sanctioned Rs 11.28 crore to 30 borrowers under the standby line of credit (SLC).<\/p>\n<p>The Bank further said that it had implemented various measures to increase awareness about different schemes among customers through webinars, SMS, e-mail and\u00a0Telecalling among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mumbai, July 8 : Bank of Maharashtra said on Wednesday that it had sanctioned Rs 2779 crore to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) under its various\u00a0schemes since March 2020.
