Since the past 26 years, he has been associated with the Bombay Hospital, Apollo Hospitals, Vijaya Heart foundation and Manipal Heart Foundation.<\/p>\n<div id=\"zdt_3644892_1_wrapper\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div id=\"containerDiv-3644892_1\">\n<div>Before joining Fortis, he was working with Narayana Health and was responsible for the operations of all the group\u2019s hospitals across India and internationally. He was the Group Chief Executive Officer since November 19, 2010, Managing Director since November 3, 2011 and also served as its executive vice chairman. He was responsible for creating structures and processes to build a successful healthcare organization.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Commenting on the appointment, Ravi Rajagopal, Chairman, Fortis, said that they are delighted to welcome Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, as their new CEO. With a proven track record as a successful clinician and an able administrator, Dr Raghuvanshi has developed a keen understanding of the business, patient care and healthcare sector. Rajagopal said that Raghuvanshi&#8217;s leadership at Fortis will be critical as the Company continues to pursue its vision to create a world class, integrated, healthcare delivery system.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Raghuvanshi is lauded for the establishment of Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata, where he joined as Director in 2000 and is today one of the largest Multispecialty Hospitals in Eastern India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At Fortis, Ashutosh will be responsible for the day-to-day management decisions of the company and for implementing the Company&#8217;s long and short term plans.
