Ingersoll Rand participated in the 9th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2019 in Gandhinagar. The summit was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Narender Modi and saw participation from various industries, key policy makers, think tanks etc. With the theme \u2018Shaping a New India\u2019, the summit serves as a platform to leverage Gujarat\u2019s manufacturing leadership in India and aims for the state to become economically and socially the most developed state in India by 2030.<\/p>\n
Amar Kaul, Chairman and Managing Director, Ingersoll Rand India Ltd. was invited by the Govt. of Gujarat to be a part of the panel discussion on Industrial Corridors, Industrial Parks and Industry 4.0 under the \u2018Make in India\u2019 session of the summit. He was joined by other dignitaries like Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog, Deepak Bagla, MD & CEO, Invest India, Michael Train, President, Emerson & Chairman, Emerson Automation Solutions to name a few.<\/p>\n

During the panel discussion, Amar further commented that, \u201cIndia is on its way to become the largest manufacturing economies in the world as industry 4.0 is transforming the manufacturing landscape.
