The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is hosting the 25th Edition of CII Partnership Summit in Mumbai, from today, January 12 and 13. The Summit, CII\u2019s annual flagship international event, will see the participation of over 1000 delegates from 40 countries, who will collaborate across domains such as IT, infrastructure, health and technology innovation. The theme for this year\u2019s Summit is \u2018New India: Rising to Global Occasions\u2019.<\/p>\n
Hon\u2019ble Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu is the Chief Guest. The Partnership Summit is the annual flagship event of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is organised in association with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra.<\/p>\n
Governor of Maharashtra C Vidyasagar Rao, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu, Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Subhash Desai, Minister of Industries and Mining, Maharashtra, are the Guest of Honours at the meet. Senior officials from the Central and State Governments will also be present, as will several foreign dignitaries.<\/p>\n
Foreign dignitaries at the Summit include Eng Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Ministry of Economy, UAE; Kim Hyun Chong, Minister of Trade, South Korea; Stepan Kubiv, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Ukraine; Matrika Prasad Yadav, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Nepal; Kamila Sediqi, Acting Minister of Commerce, Afghanistan; Neeza Imad, Minister of State for Economic Development, Maldives; Chhuon Dara, Secretary of State for Commerce, Cambodia; Ivan Magalhaes Do Prado, Secretary of State for Industry, Angola; Francis Gurry, Directory General, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO); Hiroshi Kuniyoshi, Managing Director and Deputy to the Director General, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO); and Alexander B\u00f6hmer, Head of South and South East Asia Division, Global Relational Secretariat, Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).<\/p>\n
