We also expect Balkrishna Industries and Swaraj Engines to report a strong set of numbers for the current quarter.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span>OEM performance<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0In two-wheelers, TVS Motors outperformed its peers. In three-wheelers, Atul Auto reported one of its strongest quarterly growth. Ashok Leyland’s earnings would decline due to a 17% YoY decline in its M&HCV volumes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Agri-related business picks up<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0Tractor volumes grew steadily. We expect Escorts and Swaraj Engines to report strong revenue, EBITDA and PAT growth. However, tillers have been hit. VST Tillers’ revenues and earnings we expect to have declined respectively 25% and 68% YoY.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Tyre<\/span><\/span>\u00a0companies:<\/b>\u00a0OEM growth for M&H CV\u00a0tyres<\/span>\u00a0was negative. Our channel check suggests that replacement demand for truck\u00a0tyres<\/span>\u00a0(radial) has been very strong. Most\u00a0tyre<\/span>\u00a0OEs are running full capacity\u00a0utilisation<\/span>\u00a0on their radial\u00a0tyre<\/span>\u00a0capacity. At the same time, growth in the farm sub-segment (tractors) has been phenomenal. Thus, we expect capacity\u00a0utilisation<\/span>\u00a0in “bias”\u00a0tyres<\/span>\u00a0would be much higher.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The LCV\u00a0tyre<\/span>\u00a0segment continues to report strong off-take, but the passenger vehicle\u00a0tyres<\/span>\u00a0have seen some slowdown. The two-wheeler and\u00a0three-wheeler\u00a0OEM sales have been strong during the quarter, so we expect these\u00a0tyres<\/span>\u00a0to witness decent growth.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Overall, we expect\u00a0a revenue<\/span>\u00a0growth in the range of 14-18% for most players.\u00a0The benign natural rubber prices and the sharp correction in crude derivatives will have a positive impact on the margins sequentially.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
