As many as\u00a01189 blockchain based certificates were issued\u00a0which are now Live on Ethereum Blockchain.\u00a0 With this, SP Jain School of Global Management has become\u00a0the first B-School in the world to issue certificates\u00a0for its degree and professional certification using custom smart contract on popular public blockchain platform Ethereum.<\/p>\n
The automated five-step blockchain validation is intuitive and does not require any technical know-how on validator\u2019s end. Prospective employers or other agencies can now directly verify our student\u2019s credentials, authenticity, and view student projects without contacting the institution.<\/p>\n
Speaking on this latest development, Nitish Jain, President, SP Jain School of Global Management\u00a0said, \u201cDigital certificates are the future. There have been various attempts globally to issue certificates on the blockchain. But so far no one has captured the complete lifecycle of the certification. Students\u2019 attendance and other private data are securely stored in the school\u2019s private blockchain and only the certification related data is exposed to the public Ethereum blockchain.\u00a0 The future is now. It\u2019s either change or perish\u201d.<\/p>\n
