The third edition of the 100 Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) celebrates the corporates that have extended noteworthy efforts in making the workplace inclusive towards women. The 2018 edition witnessed participation of 345 companies across industries and they were assessed across multiple criteria including &#8211; workforce demographics, recruitment, retention and career advancement programs, safety and security initiatives, benefits, culture, leave and flexible work, and work-life programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Commenting on the recognition,\u00a0Mahipal Nair, CHRO &#8211; South Asia, Nielsen, said, \u201cAt Nielsen India, we have always believed that diversity and inclusion are not only crucial to our growth but more importantly, comprise the core of our ability to innovate. We continue to take initiatives to ensure a safer, progressive and performance-led culture across our offices. We are humbled and honoured that our commitment to gender diversity and\u00a0our efforts to help our women associates progress in their careers,\u00a0has\u00a0earned us a standing among the best 100 companies in the country for the third year in a row.
