\u201cThere are so many different dialects of Hindi in India and I feel that its beauty lies in this variety.\u00a0When it comes to the Hindi which I use for my films, it is surely influenced by the local language of the place to which the story belongs\u201d\u00a0said\u00a0renowned filmmaker Shyam Benegal, during his interaction with the officers of Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) on the closing ceremony of the month-long Hindi month celebrated in the Bank. Benegal also handed over prizes to the winners of various Hindi competitions organised during the Hindi month, celebrated from August 14 to September 14, 2018.<\/p>\n
During the Hindi month, various programmes aimed at motivating and encouraging staff members for increasing the use of Hindi in their day-to-day work, were organised. These programmes included a cultural programme and various Hindi competitions for staff members and their children.<\/p>\n
Hindi month commenced on August 14, 2018 with the release of a message by the Bank\u2019s Managing Director, David Rasquinha and Hindi competitions were inaugurated by the Bank\u2019s Deputy Managing Director, Debasish Mallick. They encouraged the staff members to participate in the competitions stating that these play an important role in inspiring and motivating employees to work in Hindi.<\/p>\n
During the month, a talk by Professor Emeritus at Japan\u2019s Osaka University, Tomio Mizokami was also arranged on August 27, 2018. Prof. Mizokami delivered a lecture in Hindi on \u2018Indo-Japan Relations: Economic perspective.\u2019 Seventy eight-year old Prof. Mizokami was recently awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India for his contribution in the field of languages, especially in promoting Hindi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
