P<span lang=\"EN-IN\">BT<\/span>\u00a0and P<span lang=\"EN-IN\">AT<\/span>for the quarter ha<span lang=\"EN-IN\">ve\u00a0<\/span>been Rs.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">62.29<\/span>\u00a0Cr and Rs.<span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a040.53<\/span>\u00a0Cr respectively, as against Rs.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">32.75<\/span>\u00a0Cr and Rs.<span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a020.50<\/span>\u00a0Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-2496664549685943405m_1312367517265184459MsoPlainText\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\"><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">For\u00a0<\/span>the quarter, Consumer Products\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">s<\/span>egment of the Company has\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">earned\u00a0<\/span>total\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">r<\/span>evenue of Rs.<span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0596.86\u00a0<\/span>Cr<span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0as against Rs. 469.53 Cr<\/span>,\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">showing\u00a0<\/span>growth of\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">27.1<\/span>%\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">(Volume growth of approx. about 35%) over the corresponding previous quarter<\/span>. E<span lang=\"EN-IN\">PC s<\/span>egment<span lang=\"EN-IN\">, however, has achieved a total revenue of Rs. 542.96 Cr,\u00a0<\/span>register<span lang=\"EN-IN\">ing a marginal de-growth of 3.0% (Volume growth of approx. 5%) over\u00a0<\/span>the corresponding quarter of the previous\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">year<\/span>.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-2496664549685943405m_1312367517265184459MsoPlainText\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\">Shekhar Bajaj, Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Electricals Limited,<\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">\u00a0said\u00a0<\/span>\u201cConsumer Products segment\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-IN\">has registered a splendid performance in terms of top line growth and improvement in margins. Revenue has grown by 27.1% driven by strong growth in LED products, Fans and certain Kitchen and Domestic Appliances. Consequently the margins have improved substantially to 7.0% as against 0.7% in the corresponding previous quarter. Consistent improvement in performance is a clear indication that the company has started reaping benefits of Range and Reach Expansion Programme (RREP) implementation and is well poised for good future ahead.&#8221;<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-2496664549685943405m_1312367517265184459MsoPlainText\"><span lang=\"EN-IN\"><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"EN-IN\">EPC Segment has registered a marginal growth during the quarter. However, costs incurred towards initial set up of infrastructure for new orders received for Power Distribution in the State of Uttar Pradesh, has impacted the margins of this segment, as there is no corresponding revenue against these cost.
