Under his leadership, the market development organisation has\u00a0promoted fundamental changes to gold policy in key markets such as China and India, as well as\u00a0setting new standards in areas such as responsible gold mining and Shari\u2019ah compliant gold investing.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-7537043498846823174m_7509026997247101319Bodytext\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">During his time as CEO, the organisation has helped\u00a0modernise market infrastructure to make gold a mainstream financial asset. It has also introduced new gold investment products to enable gold ownership to become ubiquitous.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_-7537043498846823174m_7509026997247101319Bodytext\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">David Harquail, Chair of the World Gold Council, said \u201cIt has been an absolute pleasure working with Aram over the years.\u00a0 Aram\u2019s vision for the World Gold Council has transformed it into a highly influential organisation, breaking down barriers and developing a more dynamic and effective gold market globally.
