The winners were chosen from among\u00a03,000 applicants\u00a0who proposed innovations to create large scale social impact and bring industrial transformation in India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">After the second consecutive year of IIGP 2.0 at the Festival of Innovation at Rashtrapati Bhavan earlier this year, this renewed programme aims to support Government of India\u2019s \u2018Start-up India\u2019 and \u2018Make in India\u2019 initiatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The winners have been awarded an amount of\u00a0Rs. 25 lakhs each.\u00a0\u00a0Winners from social innovations category are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aarna Biomedical Products Ltd (Product: Poorti),\u00a0Green Farming Forever Innovations (Product: Moksh)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Torchit Electornics Pvt Ltd (Product: Saarthi),\u00a022bate7 Software Pvt Ltd (Product: piCards),\u00a0TouchVision Tech (Product: TouchVision),\u00a0CareNX Innovations Pvt. Ltd IIT Bombay (Product: SelfCervi),\u00a0Shira MedTech Pvt Ltd (Product: Shira Clamp) and Genrobotics Innovations (Product: Bandicoot)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Winners from industrial innovations category are:\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>IIT Madras (Product: AQUA-FI), Delectrik Systems Private Limited (Product: Redox Flow Battery), DRIVAMP LLP (Product: Drivamp), Etrix Technologies Private Limited (Product: BlinkIN), Irov Technologies Private Limited (Product: EyeROV), MakerInMe Technologies Private Limited (Product: Cretile, Manastu Space Technologies Private Limited and Sastra Robotics India Private Limited (Product: SR-Dimenzio)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The winning innovations were evaluated by an esteemed set of jury members on select parameters. Technological innovation, sustainability of the proposed solution, unique value\/proposition, development status, social impact and funding required for technology development amongst others were some of the parameters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">A total of\u00a03000 applications\u00a0were received and evaluated across areas such as assistive technology, healthcare, clean energy, cyber security, data analytics, space technology, education, sanitation, internet of things, fintech etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the last\u00a0six months, the shortlisted, top\u00a050 Open Innovation Challenge\u00a0applicants\u00a0were invited for advanced training sessions on design, readiness of the market and business models at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, along with a Boot camp at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The India Innovation Growth Programme (IIGP) 2.0, a tripartite initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, Lockheed Martin and Tata Trusts announced the winners of the 2018 edition in New Delhi.
