SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management Inaugurates MBA Batch 2024-2026 with a Grand Ceremony

SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed-to-be University) School of Business Management (SBM) inaugurated its MBA programmes in Digital Transformation, Business Analytics and Healthcare Management for the 2024-2026 batch of students on June 10, 2024, at its Mumbai campus. Mr. Prakash Sah, Managing Partner & Head, Data, Analytics and AI – Manufacturing, TCS, was the Chief Guest at the inauguration ceremony.


Gracing the grand occasion were Dr. Justin Paul, Dean and Provost of Management Education, NMIMS SBM, Dr. Chandrima Sikdar, Associate Dean, NMIMS SBM, and senior NMIMS faculty including Programme Chairpersons, Prof. Binesh Nair, MBA Digital Transformation, Dr. Sridhar Vaidyanathan, MBA Business Analytics and Dr. Neha Sadhotra, MBA Healthcare Management.

In his inspiring address, Mr Prakash Sah said, “Entrepreneurship is booming in India and you will get to become managers and leaders in India that has the aspiration to become ‘Viksit Bharat’ or a developed nation. You will be the change agents and catalysts to drive the transition. Whatever career path you choose, it will be a big responsibility on your shoulders. The 10 most important things you will have to keep in mind as students and in your professional lives will be focussing on diversity; learning to listen, without reacting; developing emotional intelligence; networking; time management; being a lifelong learner by upskilling and cross-skilling yourselves; creativity; embracing success and failure and being resilient; entrepreneurship and lastly finding time for hobbies and personal growth and welfare. I would like to end with a quote by Abraham Lincoln, ‘The best way to predict your future is to create it.’ Be the protagonists of your own life and don’t forget to have lots of fun.”
