Infosys was recently named the ‘Silver Winner – Worldwide’ under the CSR reports category at the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) Vision Awards 2017.
Infosys was recognized for excellence in developing the Annual Report for Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the organization. Infosys scored high in several parameters including information clarity, letter to shareholders, first impression, creativity, message clarity, report financials and report cover.
Established in 2001, the League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP) aims to create a forum within the public relations industry that facilitates discussion of best-in-class practices within in the field of communication and design.
This year’s event, which marks its eighteenth consecutive year, comprised nearly 1,000 organizations representing upwards of a score of countries.
Infosys has won the LACP vision awards for Corporate Social Responsibility reports in the past three years. While the Company won bronze for the 2015-16 report, it won silver for the 2016-17 report.
Established in 1996, the Infosys Foundation supports programs in the areas of education, rural development, healthcare, arts and culture, and destitute care. Its mission is to work in remote regions of several states in India. The Infosys Foundation takes pride in working with all sections of society, selecting projects with infinite care, and working in areas that are traditionally overlooked by society at large.
